no, i don't mean like dolls or puppet show puppets. i mean those people who do whatever the fuck anyone else tells them to do. how hard is it to develop an opinion of your own, rather then counting on one of your "friends" opinions?

i often find myself getting into conversations with other people about their past relationships or old friends and how they can't really seem to get over an ex or stop reminiscing about a broken friendship. every time i get into one of these conversations i tell whoever i'm talking with the same thing i'd tell anyone else asking me for advice on this particular subject, "life is change.. change really is inevitable and as hard as you try you can't stop it from happening so, there's no reason to cling to the past and waste time being upset over something you had with another person when that is over now."

and of course i believe it's true or else i wouldn't say it but for some fucking reason i'm having a problem getting over something from my past.

for anyone reading this i want you to know i won't be writing about anything all that interesting, basically you'll just be reading about my life and how uh.. interesting it is or lack thereof.

every year around this time my musical interests slowly change from the lighter sounds of bright eyes to heavier sounding, darker lyric bands like alkaline trio. i'm not really sure what it is but music like this helps me get my mind off of summer and onto the fun of fall.
